Six Sides Dharmakāya
Because the influence of the six sides Mandala of Om Ma-ni Pad-me Hum, The Dharmakāya also has six sides:
Dharmakāya Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. This body consists of six sides form (like 6 sides of the Rubik!). Or a cube.
1. Front: Usually that is a picture of her/him holding a vase of amrta (skt) on left hand, right hand forms a mudra or holds a branch of willow.
Usages: Salvation- Helping human beings like us or rescueing all beings or “salvation of the living beings”.
2. Rear: Image of a Dharma Protector – Fire Face Boddhisatva in Hell Realm. This image is the shape of a black devil with left hand holding a flag, right hand straightly spreading all fingers forming a abhayadana mudra (bestower of fearlessness). Especially, he sticks a long red tongue to navel with ferocious appearance.
Usage: Salvation of Death
3. Left: An image represents the mind of kindness
4. Right: An image represents the mind of compassion
5. Bottom: An image represents the mind of joys
6. Top: An image of an old angel with his cane, representing the mind of detachments
For example, practitioners want to learn the mind of kindness: he should enter into meditation of the Four Jhana, then contemplate the dhamakaya and focus to the left side.
I (HL) saw the image of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara sitting with one folding leg, and one outstretched leg. On his left, there is a vase on the ground with branch of willow. He signals telepathy (or he settles my mind and makes me feeling of the mind of kindness). This state of mind mentally impressing over other’s mind that can not express in words or examples so that this way is called such the “Secret”.
Dharmakaya AmitabhaBecause the influence of the six syllables of the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, so I look at Dhamakaya Amitabha which appear 6 sides as follows:
1.Front: With the left hand forming of abhayadana mudra, and his right hand forming vajra mudra. Looking at the dhamakaya, you will learn from his films of freeing of the six kinds of beings. Should this picture name "Deliverance".
2. Rear: it appears an abyss or a well that is very big and deep. This sight creates a sense of fear and terror suddenly. Beyond the irrational fear, and when one throw himself into the abyss and jumps down and falls awhile, then suddenly re-appeared all of the daily activities such as rescuing people, and helping others practicing meditation in the past. That is the sight of "Salvation of Death".
3. Left: Move to the left of the cubic, this sight is the conference of interpretation of the "Emptiness".
4. Right: Move to the right of the cubic, this sight is the conference of interpretation of the"Ends”.
5. Bottom: Head down under the cubic, this sight is the conference of interpretation of the "sufferings".
6. Top: Go up and look down on the cubic, this sight is the conference of interpretation of the "attachements".
Summary:
1. Front: films of the Deliverance
2. Rear: films of the Salvation
3. Left: Conference of interpretation of the Emptiness
4. Right: Conference of interpretation of the Ends
5. Bottom: Conference of interpretation of the Sufferings
6. Top: Conference of interpretation of the Attachments
Dharmakaya VajrocanaBecause the influence of the six syllables of the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, so the Dhamakaya Vajrocana also appear 6 sides as follows:
1. Front: is the image of the Buddha Vajrocana with Dharmachakra mudra.
2. Rear: is a human being: In my understanding, human being practitioners will have greatest chance to enter the “Lotus Super Universe”.
3. Left: Conference of discussing of the Wisdom
4. Right: Conference of discussing of the Practice
5. Bottom: Sight of The PureLands
6. Top: Sight of The Hells
And general principle: is to move from this image to other images without obstacles, one must create more merits by engaging and doing the work of "
selflessly aid to others" in daily normal activities.
PS:
Amrta (skt) is the water generating from the mind of Kindness of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara.
“Lotus Super Universe”: Comprising of unlimited number of worlds where are residence of Budhhas and Boddhisattas.
“Salvation of the living-beings”: Liberating and freeing from delusions, sufferings, and ignorances.
